Methods used: bioindicators, physical and chemical analyses
Outside partners: industrial, municipal and scientific laboratories.
Now going on: Pine Needle Project, Chemical Water Analysis Project, Moss Bag study.
In studying the state of Nature we seek for new ideas. We would also like to be the growing ground for new friendship school nets.

pori2010.jpg“THE 17TH INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CAMP SCHOOL OF MERI-PORI UPPER SECONDARY”, FINLAND 31.5. – 4.6. 2010

Delegations of Baltic countries from Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Poland took part in the best environmental studies in Pori.
Simo, Veikko and Anja organized the camp in a professional way.
Thanks to our Finish BSP friends for the invitation.
We have learnt a lot, we have made friends, we have seeing beautiful nature. We have known Baltic languages, cultures, traditions and of course Finish sauna.
We will never forget the best atmosphere ever and all possibilities to learn environmental problems of the Baltic Sea Region.

 The Baltic Sea Project Newsletter: Poland No 3 (3) / 2010  (2010-03-04 18:52:55)

the_baltic_pl_03_2010_mini.jpgThe third Polish-English BSP newsletter is published. Its main theme is the Global Climate Changes. Many thanks to the scientists of the University of Silesia in Katowice and teachers and students of Polish BSP schools for sending in their articles.

You can read there the report from the International “Bright Green Youth Conference” in Sønderborg in Denmark, which was held in August 2009, the report of Teachers’ Training Course within the Baltic Sea Project, UNESCO in “Sustainable development of the urban areas versus global climate changes”  which took place in Katowice, Poland in October 2009. The report of “The 6th Final BSP Conference” in Vilnius where Velga Kakse from Latvia took over the General Coordination in September 2009.

The next issue will be published at the beginning of 2011. Everyone’s cooperation will be very welcome....
