"Substainable Fisheries in the Baltic Sea". Bornholm, Denmark. September, 25th – 27th 2006 Sønderskov-Skolen in Sønderborg and the Danish BSP-net has organized for the third time the workshop with the topic: "Substainable Fisheries in the Baltic Sea" in Rønne at Bornholm, Denmark
Participants: students and teachers from Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Russia.
The purpose of that workshop was to develop a network between Danish and international BSP-primary and lower secondary schools. In reality some of upper secondary schools joined that them and they were happy that they had the possibility to work with younger friends from different Baltic countries. Thanks to the Søren Levring, the National Coordinator of the BSP and fantastic instructors Sven Ove Schink and Morten Malmqvist we have been thought from a biological, an industrial, an environmental historical view and an intercultural perspective the most important problems of the Baltic Sea. We visited the fishing port, “Natur Bornholm” Museum, fish factory, smokehouse and Scandicangler, and we had the trip by boat to Hammeren. We investigated flora and fauna of the Baltic Sea. We had the possibility to learn, play and have fun together with friends from six Baltic countries.
Thanks a lot to Søren for organizing that fantastic, instructive workshop.
